Reducing Lethal Access

A key element of youth suicide prevention is reducing lethal access to medication and firearms.

LCHD works with partners in the community to reduce access to lethal means (medication and firearms) among youth by distributing safe medication storage products and firearm cable locks.

The Licking County Health Department is providing free medication and firearm storage devices to Licking County, Ohio, residents and their families to reduce access to lethal means among Licking County youth aged 10-24.  To request one or more devices, please fill out the form below.
